Where Do We Go From Here? Style in 2010 and Beyond
At the end of the year it’s common for everyone to question how the year past has gone by and how the year ahead is going to unfold. ‘Am I happy?’ the question will arise, hang in the air for a while, and with this last tough year in the economy I think we are answering that query through new ways that often are expressed in both how we choose appear to the world and how we perceive the world.
We’re going through a bit of a cultural shift, still stinging from the blows that the last decade has delivered us. Time called this past decade the ”Worst Decade Ever” but I’m not going to go that far. Sure, there have been tough times, but joyful times too.
While some may point to the middle of this past decade as a time of prosperity, we’ve all been shown that that was just waiting to slap us in the face. It’s our fault we didn’t know what to do with the opportunity except spend more money than we had, even though we had more money than ever before.
So then, where are we going? Well it looks like everyone is finding more pleasure in the simpler things in life, and this is being expressed through our style and fashion…
